About: Bei Yu

I am a postdoc at Northwestern University. I will finish my training by July 2009. It is very nice to meet you at Crowdvine.

I work with Professor Daniel Diermeier at Kellogg School of Management and Professor Stefan Kaufmann in the Linguistics Department on applications of language technologies in political and business domains. Specifically I am interested in studying the linguistic footprints of ideology in political speech, political opinion extraction and classification for eRulemaking, and also sentiment analysis in business news articles to assist corporate reputation management.
