Willem Pieterson responded to dg.o 2009 conference will not be held in May

I'd say that holding the conference later this year would be a good idea. However, I wonder to what extent that would infringe upon everyone's schedules for later this year. I can image everybody already has planned conferences and the like for th...

Stuart Shulman responded to Mobile Government vs. Digital Government

After 10 years of DG conferences, this is an important question. Digital Government may be a term that needs updating. Whether mGov is the way forward, is not clear. While mobiles are ubiquitous and tweets come straight from the Capitol Building w...

I was interested to see that you are working on virtual worlds in government - I had started to explore virtual worlds but abandoned it - It seems it's a lot easier to interact with a government agency in a tradition sense. Do you have interesting applications that are better in a virtual world? I hope you submit a paper in this area.

I agree. I have put the official dg.o 2009 web site development on the agenda for the July 1 conference call and for now, the Crowdvine is to build our presence/community on the web and the pb wiki is a place for anyone interested in dg.o to create a collaborative work object.

Andrew Philpot left a note

Soon,
I imagine we will use dgo2009.org as the official web site at some point. For now, I think we will use more collaborative tools such as the social network crowdvine and the PB wiki to see what seems to best facilitate getting the work done.
